His Lordship, The Honorable Chief Judge of The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Hon. Justice Husseini Yusuf Baba will make a statutory visit to the above correctional centers as schedule below:
Pursuant to the provision of Order 52 Rule 4(b )of the Rules of this Court , there will be an Easter Break from Friday, the 7th day of April, 2023 to Friday, 14th April, 2023.
FCT Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf has commissioned two (2) magistrate courts at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Thursday 15th December 2022, in collaboration with the management of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN.
This move was in furtherance of the Chief Judge’s vision and mission of improving the justice sector in FCT by making the court readily available and accessible to Abuja residence and beyond. Thus, the strategic position of the international airport.
Pursuant to the provisions of Order 52 Rule 4 of the Rules of this Court, the Hon. Chief Judge Hon. Justice H. B. Yusuf hereby declare that the Court will proceed on Christmas and New year Vacation from Tuesday, 19th day of December, 2023 to Thursday, 4th January, 2024. The Court will resume sitting on Friday, 5th January, 2024.
The FCT High Court as one of the Judicial body of the Federal Capital Territory Judiciary, is established by Section 255 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999. It is under the leadership of the Honourable Chief Judge who is also the Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Judicial Service Committee.
