The Audit Department is the department of the Court tasked with the responsibility of providing a complete and continuous audit of the accounts and records of revenue and expenditure, assets, allocated stores. its functions also include measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of Internal Control System in the Court as well as advising the Court in the formulation, execution and review of Audit policies and Programmes.

- Provision of a complete and continuous Audit of the Accounts and records of revenue and expenditure, assets, allocated and unallocated stores.
- Advising the authority on the formulation, execution and review of Audit policy and programmes.
The Department is headed by a staff of the Directorate Cadre. The current Head of the Court’s Internal Audit Department is Mr. Ahmad Aliyu Adamu.
