Pursuant to the provisions of Order 48 Rule 4(b) of the extant Rules of this Court, the Honourable Chief Judge hereby declares that the Court will proceed on Easter Vacation from Friday, 3rd of April – Friday, 10th of April, 2026.

The Court will resume sitting on Monday, 13th of April, 2026. During this Vacation period my Lords, Hon. Justice Binta Mohammed and Hon. Justice S.U. Bature will serve as the Vacation Judges.

The Honourable Chief Judge wish Your Lordships and the entire Staff of the FCT High Court a very happy, Peaceful and highly fulfilled Easter celebration.

The FCT High Court, today 5th day of January 2026, resumes Court Sitting, marking the end of the Christmas and New Year Vacation. 

You will recall that the Court has been on Vacation since Monday, the 22nd day of December 2025, to Friday, the 5th day of January 2026, during which the regular Court sittings were halted.

We are pleased to inform you that all activities have commenced, and we wish you a prosperous 2026.

Under the provisions of Order 52, Rule 4, of the Rules of this Court, the Honorable Chief Judge hereby declares that the Court will be on Christmas and New Year Vacation from Monday, 22nd December 2025 to Friday, 2nd January 2026.

The Court will resume sitting on Monday, 5th January 2026.

My Lord, the Honourable Chief Judge wishes your Lordships and the entire staff of the FCT High Court a pleasant, peaceful, and highly fulfilled Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.

A Notary Public is a public official authorized to witness and authenticate documents, administer oaths, and perform other formalities. Their stamp or seal confirms document authenticity, preventing fraud and ensuring legitimacy.

The Honourable Chief Judge will administer the Oath of Office to newly appointed Notary Publics on December 4th, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Ceremonial Court, FCT High Court Maitama Abuja.

The FCT High Court today the 15th day of September, 2025 resumes Court Sitting marking the end of the Annual Court Vacation.
