Following the approval of the President on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council. The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Walter Onnoghnen, GCON has sworn in seven (7) new Judges for the FCT High Court of Justice as follows:-

4. Hon. Justice Babangida Hassan
5. Hon. Justice Akobi Iyabeni Anna
6. Hon. Justice Samirah Umar Bature
7. Hon. Justice Asmau Akanbi Yusuf
Pursuant to the provisions of Order 52 Rule 4 of the Rules of this Court, the Court will proceed on her Annual Vacation beginning from Monday 9th July, 2018 to Friday, 7th September, 2018.
The Court will resume for the New Legal Year on Monday, 10th September, 2018

The following Honourable Judges of the FCT High Court have been elevated to the Court of Appeal.
The FCT High Court as one of the Judicial body of the Federal Capital Territory Judiciary, is established by Section 255 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999. It is under the leadership of the Honourable Chief Judge who is also the Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Judicial Service Committee.
