The Federal Capital Territory High Court of Justice Clinic was set up to give prompt, professional, adequate and continuous management of ailments on a General Out-patient basis. Clinics are run on working days from 8:00am through 6:00 pm. This management includes:

  1. General Out – patient care
  2. Emergency and Resuscitation
  3. In – patient observation care
  4. General nursing care
  5. Antenatal care from conception/time of contact to four (4) weeks prior to expected date of delivery
  6. Laboratory Services
  7. Health Education and Promotion
  8. Counseling and Medical advice
  9. Follow up of cases

The Medical Delivery (Doctors) Section

This is composed of the Consultants and Medical Officers. They consult, investigate and manage diseases and syndromes on a General Out- Patient basis, carry out minor surgical procedures. They also counsel patients and give professional medical advice. Cases are also referred to secondary or tertiary health care centers when deemed necessary. They also follow up cases.

The Nursing Section

They provide professional nursing care to all staffs, receive patients from the records unit, take patients vital signs, forward patients to the consulting rooms, admit patients for observation when necessary, maintain the in-ward  observatory ward, monitor in-ward patients and deliver drug and management regimen as prescribed. They also maintain instruments at aseptic conditions at all times, dress wounds. They also make sure the wards and clinic are clean in conjunction with the cleaning section.

The Laboratory Unit

They provide basic professional investigations including hematology, microbiology, chemical pathology and radiology (x-rays and ultrasound scan)

The Pharmacy Section

This section comprises of the bulk store and the dispensary. The bulk store is managed by the store officer while the dispensary is managed by the pharmacist and the pharmacy assistance. They render dispensary services, drug- drug interaction, patient counseling and drug information when necessary.

The Records Unit

They open file for patients, computes patients information/data, forward the patient file to the nursing unit, type documents and letters when necessary. They also make photocopies of documents when necessary.

The Cleaning Section

They have the responsibility to keep the clinic clean at all times so to be free from dirt and stains like blood
