Viking axe was an extremely common form of tool and weapon in medieval Scandinavian countries. Vikings used axes it to construct ships, houses, carts and other objects as well as used them in a battle. However, the style of battle axes and farm axes were different. Battle Viking axe usually were light and fast so that they may be useful for throwing and a swift attack. Farm axes were relatively bigger as these were useful for chopping the wood.
